Peer Support

Meet one-on-one with an individual who will provide support through one’s own lived experience issues to promote recovery. Peer supporters also assist individuals with self-determination, well-being, goal setting, coping mechanisms, and crisis management.

Narcan Training

Attend a workshop on using Narcan to save lives. This program is administered by Holly Phillips from the Medina County Health Department.

Volunteer Work

Students volunteer with other organizations as a way to help others and participate as a group in a positive activity. 8 hours of volunteer work is required.

Financial Literacy

Sit down one-on-one with a knowledgeable financial planner who will assist you to reach your financial goals by discussing debt reduction, credit repair, tax issues, budgeting, saving, etc.

Career Development

The next step after completing the 6-month culinary training program is to find desirable employment. To accomplish this, a student needs to prepare for their graduation by understanding the importance of being a good employee. Characteristics such as, timeliness, grooming, good work ethic, and being coachable are among the traits of a desirable employee. In addition, graduates learn how to prepare a resume, answer application questions, and request recommendations. The following programs are available to students.
